Part 1: Workshop - Welcome to Burlesque
Welcome to Burlesque
The first workshop in The Art of Tease series, guided by Sylvia Rose
Step into your power and embrace your inner bombshell in this beginner-friendly burlesque workshop.
We will start with a short introduction to the world of burlesque, From its captivating history to the essential do's and don'ts. Then you will learn how to move with confidence, strike beautiful poses, seductive walks, and use props like a boa and gloves in playful teases, and a short, sensual and fun choreography where everything will come together.
Dresscode:
Time to glam up!
Think old Hollywood glamour.
Heels, stockings, slip dresses, corsets, suspenders, sequins. your little black dress or flapper inspired looks.
Most importantly, wear something that makes you feel glamorous, confident and unapologetically you.
Important to note:
No clothing will be removed during this workshop.
You will never be asked to undress.
Burlesque is about elegance, teasing and suggestion - not about revealing.
What to bring:
* Your outfit ( see dresscode )
* Boa & long gloves ( please bring your own, limited extra's available )
* Most important, bring your glamorous energy and radiant smile. Be ready to feel like a bombshell!
! To make your expierience even more special, you will be welcomed with a glass of bubbles, and receive a surprise gift to take home and remember this experience!
Doors open at 14:45. We will begin at 15:00, so make sure to arrive on time and settle in.
Part 2: Workshop The Art of Tease
The Art of Tease.
Dive deeper into the art of teasing in this second workshop in the Art of Tease series. Guided by Sylvia Rose.
In this workshop, we slow things down and explore the power of intention, musicality and presence. You will be guided through teasing exercises that help you to connect to your body, your timing and your unique expression.
We will play with slower, more controlled movements, a sensual stocking tease, and the subtle art of building anticipation.
You will also learn a short choreography where we everything comes together. Allowing you to embody the tease with confidence, softness and control.
This workshop is beginner friendly, but it is advised to have attended the first workshop "Welcome to Burlesque" in the Art of Tease series for context, but not required.
Dresscode:
Bring a kimono or nightgown, prefeably with a sash at the waist, that you can easily remove, with something sensual underneath like a corset, slip dress or lingerie. Pair it with your favorite heels. Choose something that makes you feel glamorous, confodent and playful.
Important to note:
During this workshop you will learn a stocking tease. You will remove your kimono/nightgown and stockings.
NO full nudity is required. Burlesque is about teasing, not revealing.

* A pair of stockings you can remove during the tease.
* Most important, bring your sensual and playful energy. Be ready to feel confident and empowered!
